Ronald Wilheim is the President of the Long Term Care Division of the CommuniCare Family of Companies and serves as an officer and board member. He joined CommuniCare in 1993 as Corporate Counsel and for nearly three decades, his decisive leadership and healthcare innovations have propelled CommuniCare forward to adapt to a changing industry environment and transform the space entirely.
In his current role, Ronald manages the long term care division which includes more than 85 skilled nursing facilities; assisted living communities; CommuniCare Advantage, a Medicare Advantage Plan; Personalized Health Partners, physician services; NeighborCare Independent Senior Living Properties; and Long Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH). He also is instrumental in guiding CommuniCare’s telemedicine company, Convergence.
Ronald serves on the boards of the Indiana Health Care Association (IHCA) and the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) and is a current Ohio Bar Association member. He holds a law degree from Benjamin Cordoza School of Law and a BA in Talmudic Law from the Israeli Rabbinical College.
He is very active in the Cincinnati Jewish community, serving as President of the Cincinnati Community Kollel and on the boards of Beth Medrash Govoha, Agudath Israel of America, and the Orthodox Union.
